Portland Community College (PCC)
PCC offers the most ESL classes in the area and at multiple locations. They offer different levels of classes, so you’ll need to take a placement test to be placed in the right class level. The ESL classes are very popular, so you should take the placement test as soon as you can, as you may need to wait 1-3 months after your test before you can get into a class.

There is a $25 application fee to be paid before you take your class. There are also class fees which you may not have to pay if you qualify financially—ask your instructor about qualifying.

Classes for Non-Native Speakers of English-ESL
Services: Offers a variety of classes, at different levels, at two locations, for non-native speakers. Classes are offered during the day and evening. Call to take an assessment test so you'll be placed in the right class. As a student of MHCC, you can use the computer lab, library, gym and swimming pool for free.
